We’re so excited to be welcoming back so many of our amazing vendors from last year! 🧡 It means the world to us that they enjoyed Pumpkin Fest enough to want to return.

We do have limited spaces available for new vendors this year, and we’d love to add some new faces!

If you’re a local maker, artisan, small business or creative, now’s your chance to apply!

We are starting to see COLOR in the pumpkin patches 🧡🎃

After all the rain this season, we were definitely a little worried about how the pumpkins would do. But they’re growing, filling out, and we’re finally starting to see some colour coming through in the patch!

We’ve also had lots of questions about our U-Pick flowers this year. Unfortunately, the rain just didn’t let us open the flower fields like we had hoped. It was a tough one for us, but we’re already looking forward to next season.

For now, we’re counting down the days until we get to see you all back at the farm!

September 26th — Pumpkin Fest!

We can’t wait to fill the farm with pumpkins, vendors, food, fall fun and all of you again.

Update from Six Acre Homestead... it's been a bit of a s**t show. 😅

If you've been wondering why we've been so quiet, well... Mother Nature has been keeping us busy.

Between weeks of rain, flooding, and hail, this season has been one challenge after another. Some of our gardens have been completely wiped out, and the flowers... well, they aren't doing much better.

The good news? The pumpkins are still hanging in there. 🎃 We're doing everything we can to keep them growing and hoping for a beautiful fall.

Farming has a funny way of keeping you humble. Some years everything just works, and other years you just laugh so you don't cry.

We're not giving up. The farmstand will be opening soon with whatever the gardens are ready to share. We'll have more updates soon on the farmstand and, of course, the pumpkins.

Thanks for sticking with us through the messy seasons. We appreciate every like, comment, visit, and word of encouragement more than you know.

Here’s to hoping for more sunshine 🤞☀️

Mark your calendars for our Annual Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, September 26th!

We know we’ve been a little quieter than usual this season. Mother Nature has certainly kept us on our toes, and it’s been a challenging year on the farm. While our flower season hasn’t unfolded quite the way we had hoped, we’re already looking ahead to one of our favourite days of the year.

Thankfully, the pumpkins are growing and we’re already counting down to Pumpkin Fest! 🎃

We can’t wait to welcome you back for our favourite fall tradition filled with pumpkins, local vendors, food trucks, fall photo opportunities, kids activities, and all the cozy fall vibes.

More details will be coming soon. We can’t wait to see you on September 26th. 🧡 🍂

As May winds down, we’re finally starting to catch up after a month of snow, rain, and now heat.

The pumpkins were planted later than usual this year, but they’re all up now. The flowers are planted, and we’ve added another pumpkin patch along with an expansion to our flower u-pick 👏

Things are starting to take shape around here, and we’re looking forward to seeing what June brings. 🥂 💐
