It's that time of year — we're finding our rhythm and aiming to harvest efficiently. We've started curing root crops. WTG, agriculture crew!

The drying shed smells of garlic, onions and basil. Keep going! garlic seed stock Food Sovereignty — growing enough to feed ourselves, trainees, and share with local landowners and families.

It's not everyday we get to have Majagalee (Gitxsan word for Flower, or Child - grown with love and respect) visit but when we do, we must capture the cuteness! Thank you Lawrence for having your family stop by! She definitely brightened up our day!

Whoa! Way-to-go Carpentry Crew!

Last year we had professional plumbers do our first in-floor heating project. Our crew watched, observed their work, then said, "Hey, we can totally do that ourselves, can we do the next one?"

"Sure! We're all about training!" It took them 1/2 the time of the first crew for the second floor.

Then they did the third floor in 2 days! Growth, learning, training... this is how we do it here at Tea Creek.

Words from our 6 year old Tea Creeker, "Here at Tea Creek, we work together as a family and do it ourselves." Children are forever watching and learning!

This year farmer Mark introduced cut flowers to our agriculture crew, expanding our farm's offerings. Today he surprised us with a hands-on lesson on building bouquets with “thrillers and fillers” — pick a bold focal stem (delphinium or gladiolus) and surround it with softer filler blooms and greenery for texture and balance.

Thanks, Mark! Our crew loved the visit, learned new arranging tips, and can’t wait to try more field designs.

First time growing Hungarian Peppers and Eggplant, successfully. Our local farmer Jeffery has been taking great care and really beautifying the place! Thank you Agriculture Crew! Look at all your hard work!
