February 11th. We are pretty confident that this is a record-breaking date for the earliest we have ever started maple syrup season! The 14 day forecast looks promising, and with the mild winter we've had, who knows what March will bring?!?
We spent the afternoon at the sugar bush today and started the tapping process. Back tomorrow to finish the job!
