Just in time for the upcoming hockey tournament, Koomiut Co-op now offers in-store skate sharpening to help players stay game-ready all weekend.

Starting Tomorrow (April 8), bring skates to the Co-op, pay in advance, and they’ll be ready for pickup in about one hour.

For generations, sealing has supported the well-being of the Members, providing food, materials, and cultural continuity. Each part of the seal is used with care, reflecting values of balance, gratitude, and responsibility to the environment.

This season is also an opportunity to recognize the skill and teachings passed between Elders and youth, ensuring traditions remain strong for future generations.
