🍷 Burgundy has a way of slowing everything down.
One glass, one bottle, and suddenly the conversation becomes a little longer, the evening a little better.
This 2019 Vosne-Romanée Les Genaivrières from Domaine Jacques Cacheux is a beautiful reminder of why I keep coming back to Burgundy. Elegant, refined and effortlessly balanced.
Red cherry, wild raspberry, delicate spice and a touch of floral character unfold gracefully in the glass. The texture is silky, the freshness keeps everything in harmony, and the finish lingers just long enough to invite another sip.
What I enjoy most is not the power or the complexity.
It’s the sense of place.
The ability of a wine to express where it comes from with such clarity and authenticity.
Burgundy can be magical when it reaches this balance between finesse and emotion.
What’s the last bottle that truly made you stop and appreciate the moment?
🍇 Cheers from Québec
