One month untill kidding season. In the meantime I was scrolling through my large collection of goat pictures, including all those cute kids pictures. As I was going through them, and even though it's been said often, it struck me how the herd I have now has been influenced by genetics from some amazing herds out there through the bucks we brought in, starting with our first Kalahari red from RAM H back in the early 2000s (that seems ages ago!!).

So I took a moment to share some of the bucks we were fortunate enough to bring into our program in the last years.

Since I did the bucks, I felt the does needed some coverage as well.

The breeding herd out in pasture. They did really well this year on only grass (no grain) since the end of May.
