Alex Robertson as a fur trading post for the locals selling fur. Robertson Trading Post is a landmark to the small northern community of La Ronge, SK. Family owned and operated, we offer a wide variety of products including dry goods, footwear, men's and women's clothing, groceries, local wild rice, camp supplies, an award winning butcher shop, and much more. We also carry Aboriginal artwork such as: antler carvings, beadwork, and birch bark bitings, traditional leathercraft, and prints of paintings by local artists.

Yesterday, we made a post about the lovely flowers left on our old steps. Today, someone keeps knocking the vase over, despite it being propped up by chunks of concrete. We have taken the flowers away, so they no longer suffer abuse from some bitter person.

Once again, we appreciate the affection you folks continue to show us.

It has been just over a year since we lost the store. In that time—and more so recently—we have had numerous customers, friends, and fans reach out to send their condolences. We truly appreciate the fond feelings that our community continues to hold for Robertson Trading.
