Community Pride

Purdie Good Honey is a local Apiary located in Lasalle Ontario Canada. A focus on raising healthy and natural honey bees we employ integrated pest management with a high bias for limited intervention. We let the bees do what they do, but we inspect regularly for any irregularities and take action as needed. Our installation started in May 2018 with two brood boxes and two nucleus mated queen colonies (5 frames each). Our first harvest was in late June, and the bees have been super productive, docile, and a joy.
