Busy has been an understatement lately!

Between catering with The Good Table, baking for North Poplar Baking Co., and building new websites for both businesses, it’s been a full season. But I managed to sneak away for a little bit of time to put up some homemade pickles for my family.

There really is something special about filling the pantry with food you’ve made yourself. It’s one of those simple traditions that reminds me why we love homemade so much.

Now… it’s back to the kitchen! 🥒💚

There never seems to be enough hours in the day, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😉

Our cinnamon buns arriving at Four Seasons this Friday morning might look just like this one... 👀

Big, soft, fluffy, loaded with cinnamon, smothered in rich vanilla buttercream, and finished with a buttery brown sugar crumble.

But this week's batch has a little surprise baked right into the dough. 🤫

Life has had me busy for the last week that’s for sure. So apologies on the infrequent posting 😔

And to play catch up here is a post and a pic of the cinnamon buns headed to Four Seasons Clothing tomorrow morning.

Anyone having any suggestions on the flavour of buttercream I should add to these giant buns?

I’m thinking maple butter cream.
What do you guys think?
