Farmship Growers Co-operative

Farmship Growers Co-operative Find us at the local Farmers Markets or join our weekly vegetable box delivery program. Our farm team aims to grow environmentally healthy local produce.

Our CSA begins the first week of May registration open March 1st. You can sign up on our website www.farmship.ca OR find us at the farmers markets in season. Enjoy the local seasonal abundance! Farmship Growers Cooperative has been cultivating community in Nanaimo-Ladysmith since 2013. Farmship has a commitment to grow ethical, healthy, and natural produce for our region and to encourage and promote a food resilient local economy. Our mission is to materialize a dynamic and regenerative community farm and market garden. The value of our group as a growers cooperative is to rapidly create more opportunities for farmers in local agriculture, to protect farmland, and to increase our communities' food security capacity. You are invited to participate in the revitalization of agriculture on Vancouver Island by choosing to support local farmers. We have developed a partnership with Growing Opportunities Farm Community Co-op to broaden nearby access and education in agriculture and farming. Interested in practicing agriculture? We invite you to join us as a volunteer. Historically the success of the farm was dependent on the communities support. We seek to revitalize this farming model because of the importance of growing our own healthy food locally, in our community and for it. If you are interested in bulk produce or food box orders please email - [email protected] or personal message. Thank you once again for your interest in local agriculture!
