We’ll be at the Lake Country Food Bank’s Milestone Market & Festival this Saturday!

We’ll have our apple juice and some market goodies for sale at our booth, so if you’re out enjoying the festivities, come by and say hello!

If c***r is what you’re after, it’s also Lake Country C***r Fest this weekend! Along with Rusty Rooster and Folktale C***ry, we’ll be welcoming visitors to the orchard Saturday and Sunday, 11 - 5.

Don’t forget that Saturday is also voting day, so be sure to make a stop at your polling station if you didn’t take advantage of early voting!

Something new popped up around Lake Country this week, and we’re really excited about it!

A big thank you to the District of Lake Country for installing new road signs pointing the way to Rose Hill, Folktale, and Rusty Rooster. It might seem like a small thing, but these signs will help more people find their way to Rose Hill, and we’re so grateful for the District’s support in helping local businesses become easier to discover.

Plus, the timing couldn’t be better, with C***r Fest happening this weekend! If you’re following the Lake Country C***r Trail this weekend, keep an eye out for our new signs.

And if you happen to spot one while you’re out and about, follow the arrow and come say hello - we’d love to see you!

On October 17 & 18, we’re joining our friends at Folktale C***r and Rusty Rooster C***r for the first Lake Country C***r Fest, a weekend celebrating harvest season and the c***r being grown and made right here in Lake Country.

Pick up a C***r Fest Passport at any of the three c***ries, then follow the trail! Visit all three over the weekend and you’ll be entered to win c***r, goodies, merch and a one-night stay at The Point on Wood Lake.

We’ve even made something together for the occasion: a special Peach Pumpkin Spice C***r, available at all three locations. From every glass of feature c***r, $2 will go to the Lake Country Food Bank, and Lake Country Auto will match the total donation at the end of the weekend.

Here at Rose Hill, we’ll have farm tours, apple tasting, live music, and the BBQ going. There’ll be plenty happening at Folktale and Rusty Rooster too, be sure to fill your passport!

Pull out the plaid, it’s time to celebrate!

Join us on Saturday, October 10 for our Clad in Plaid Harvest Festival, an afternoon celebrating the season, our community, and some of the local food and artisans that make this region a special place to call home.

We’ll have a food truck, bonfire with s’mores kits, face painting, a local artisan market, mulled c***r and wh***ey c***r cocktails, plus live music with Chad Prekaski from 1-3 pm.

Come hungry, bring family and friends, and don’t forget to wear your plaid!

Join us for the Lake Country C***r Fest!

October 17–18 | 11am–5pm

Lake Country is now home to three c***ries, and we’re coming together for our first C***r Fest along the LC C***r Trail.

Spend the weekend celebrating harvest with live music, tours, tastings, family activities and plenty of c***r across all three locations.

THE C***R FEST PASSPORT
Pick up a passport at any location and visit all three c***ries over the weekend for a chance to win c***r, goodies, merch, and a one-night stay at The Point on Wood Lake!

Some things in the orchard are planted for this season. Others are planted with the future in mind.

Throughout Rose Hill, you’ll find annual crops growing alongside perennial plants like our fruit trees and berries. The annuals give us a harvest within a single growing season, while the perennials stay rooted year after year, producing food while becoming part of the longer story of the orchard.

Growing both is one of the ways we contribute to sustainability at the orchard. Perennial crops mean less soil disturbance, living roots in the ground for longer, and a landscape that can continue producing for years to come. Annual crops give us flexibility and variety, and help keep our farm and local food system diverse.

We’re always trying to find a balance between growing what we need today and planting for what comes next.
