Daytime coyote activity has been reported in various areas around the community, specifically around OK Centre Rd, north of Pebble Beach. Here are some tips from WildSafeBC if coyotes are spotted in the area:
☎️Report sightings to BC Conservation 1-877-952-7277
🐶Keep dogs on leash and avoid extension leashes
👪Walk in groups and carry a solid walking stick
↔️Keep your distance and do not approach a coyote
💩Secure attractants and feed pets inside (pick up after your dog; canine f***s act as coyote attractant)
