Rita finally foaled. A little black/black bay jack. Rita has been allowing us to touch her but we are still working on that.
We had been hoping for a jenny but that didn't happen. Now waiting on Buckshot's sister to foal by the same sire as this one.

With my health Buckshot has not been rode in 3-4 years. Jumped on him bare back with only my legs to turn him. We went up to the creek and videoed a Great BLUE HERON!

Magnum is getting a pretty nice size too! He'll turn 2 July 27 and is exceeding both parents 57" and 58" sizes. I'm 5'8 for reference.

A few of the mares bred or being bred right now to the jacks this year!
Mares are Belgian, Friesian x, QH, Standardbred, Appaloosa, Tennessee Walker, Missouri Fox Trotter, Curly (Morgan, Arabian, QH, Mustang, or Suffolk lines or mix there of) , Arabian, Pure Spanish Andalusian, Lusitano. That's 13 breed types. Most mares Registered but all mares at least started to assess temperment and trainability. A number are proven working, ranch, or high performance mares. A number are even multi generation bred here since the 80's.
