Puria is the person behind Asahi Mushrooms . A former teacher who finds it more exciting to grow foods and farming than teaching.

Asahi Mushrooms started in August 2025 in a rental barn located in Aldergrove and had its first sales by early January 2026.

Asahi Mushrooms is proud of its vision which is empowering new generation of farmers to start their farm journey not only as a hobby but a real source of income like Puria himself.

Asahi Mushroom is currently run by Puria and his Volunteers however, Puria hopes to expand and hire new enthusiasts to train by late 2026.

Artfully Yours is based in Maple Ridge and offers one of a kind items created by pyrography (hand burned) on wood pieces for household use or gifts.
From large pieces like charcuterie boards and boxes to small, like keychains and jewelry. Sameen, the owner/artist also makes hand etched slate stone coasters, hand painted leather items and miniature landscapes in a container with live plants along with custom pet portraits in acrylics and wood burn.
