POV: You went grocery shopping and accidentally ended up at a pumpkin patch. 😂🎃

Okay, we may have gotten a little carried away with pumpkin season at Ralph's… but look at this display. 😍

Whether you're looking for the perfect carving pumpkin, something beautiful for the front porch, a few minis for the table or a pumpkin destined for pie, we've got plenty to choose from:

🎃 Orange Standard Pumpkins — the classic carving pumpkin
🤍 Heirloom Pumpkins — unique colours, shapes and sizes
🥧 Pie Pumpkins — smaller pumpkins perfect for fall cooking and baking
🧡 Mini Pumpkins — available in orange + white
🍂 Mini Gourds — because the weird little ones are half the fun 😂

And apparently, stopping for groceries and picking out your pumpkins can be the same trip. 🙌

📍 This pumpkin-filled display is at Ralph's Meridian Farm Market in Murrayville. Our pumpkins are available at Meridian's 5 Farm Market locations and online for Home Delivery.

🎃 Which one are you taking home: classic orange, heirloom, mini or gourd? Tell us below, and send this to someone who still needs to pick their pumpkin.

We're especially thankful for our Meridian family, who bring their personalities, laughter and a whole lot of heart to everything they do.

And apparently… some pretty impressive dance moves, too. 😂🕺

The secret to a better steak? It comes down to 3 R's. 👀🥩

Ever cooked a beautiful steak at home, only to feel like something was missing? We've got a few tips for you. 🔥

Amanda's sharing 3 simple things to remember that can make all the difference the next time steak is on the menu!

🥩 1. ROOM TEMPERATURE — Let your steak sit out for about 30 minutes before cooking.

🔥 2. RED HOT PAN — Make sure your cast iron pan is nice and hot before adding your steak. That's how you start building that beautiful golden-brown crust!

⏱️ 3. REST — Give your steak at least 5 minutes to rest before slicing to help keep those juices in every bite.

And that's just the beginning! 👀

We're kicking off our How to Cook the Perfect Steak: 3 Ways series, sharing simple tips and different cooking methods to help you make the most of your next steak night.

🔖 SAVE this Reel so you don't forget the 3 R's, and send it to someone who takes their steak nights seriously. 😂

Be honest… which of the 3 R's do you usually skip? 👇

Thanksgiving is basically here… and you still need a side? We’ve got you. 😂🥔

No complicated ingredients. No elaborate prep. Just Crispy Beef Tallow Red & White Nugget Potatoes with Garlic & Rosemary, and a very good reason to add one more dish to tomorrow’s table. 👀
Serves 6–8

Ingredients:
🥔 3 lbs mixed red + white nugget potatoes
🥩 ⅓ cup beef tallow, melted
🧄 5–6 garlic cloves, lightly smashed
🌿 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, roughly chopped
🌿 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
🧂 1½ tsp kosher salt
⚫ Freshly cracked black pepper
✨ Flaky sea salt, to finish
🌿 Fresh parsley, finely chopped, to finish

Here's how to make them:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 450°F.
2️⃣ Toss the raw nugget potatoes with melted beef tallow, salt and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on a large sheet pan, leaving space between the potatoes.
3️⃣ Roast until deeply golden, crispy outside and tender inside, turning during cooking for even browning.
4️⃣ Add the smashed garlic, rosemary and thyme toward the latter part of roasting so the garlic and herbs don't burn.
5️⃣ Finish with flaky sea salt and fresh parsley.

And just like that, the side dish you hadn't figured out yet is handled. 🙌🥔

🔖 Save this, you'll need it tomorrow. And send it to the person who just realized they're supposed to bring a side dish to Thanksgiving. 😂

If you think you don't like Brussels sprouts… make them like THIS. 👀

Because we're pretty sure Brussels sprouts aren't the problem. Boring Brussels sprouts are. 😂

Next up in our Thanksgiving recipe series: Crispy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts with Meridian Maple Bacon. 🥓

Crispy edges, smoky-sweet Maple Bacon, garlic, Parmesan and fresh thyme, all finished with a little lemon and flaky sea salt.
Serves 6–8

Ingredients:
🥬 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed + halved
🥓 ½ lb Meridian Maple Bacon, chopped
🫒 2 tbsp olive oil
🧄 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
🧂 ½ tsp kosher salt
⚫ Freshly cracked black pepper
🧀 ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
🌿 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
🍋 ½ lemon
🧂 Flaky sea salt, to finish
🧀 Large Parmesan shavings, optional

Here's how to make them:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425°F.
2️⃣ Cook the bacon until it's just beginning to crisp. Remove it and reserve about 2 tbsp of the bacon fat.
3️⃣ Toss the Brussels sprouts with the reserved bacon fat, olive oil, salt and pepper. Arrange them cut-side down on a large sheet pan.
4️⃣ Here's the important part: don't move them. Roast for about 20 minutes so those bottoms have time to get deeply browned and crispy. 👏
5️⃣ Add the bacon and garlic, toss, then roast for another 8–10 minutes.
6️⃣ Immediately toss with Parmesan and fresh thyme. Add a small squeeze of lemon and finish with flaky sea salt and Parmesan shavings, if you'd like.

And suddenly the vegetable side isn't feeling very obligatory anymore. 😂

🔖 Save this for your Thanksgiving menu and send it to the person who claims they don't like Brussels sprouts. We might have to change their mind. 👀

The prettiest side dish on your Thanksgiving table might also be the easiest. 👀🥕

Next up in our Thanksgiving recipe series: Brown Butter Maple & Thyme Rainbow Carrots. 🌈🍁

They're buttery, herby and a little sweet, with deeply caramelized edges, and all those colours make them pretty enough to earn a spot right in the middle of the Thanksgiving table. 😍
Serves 6–8

Ingredients:
🥕 2 lbs rainbow carrots
🧈 3 tbsp butter
🍁 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
🌿 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves + more to finish
🧄 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
🧂 ½ tsp kosher salt
⚫ Freshly cracked black pepper
✨ Flaky sea salt, to finish

Here's how to make them:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425°F.
2️⃣ Trim and peel the carrots, leaving a little green stem attached if you'd like. Halve any thicker carrots lengthwise.
3️⃣ Brown the butter in a small saucepan until golden and nutty. Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup, olive oil, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper.
4️⃣ Toss the carrots in that maple brown butter mixture until well coated, then arrange them in a single layer on a sheet pan.
5️⃣ Roast for 25–35 minutes, turning once, until tender with deeply caramelized edges. During the last few minutes, brush them with those buttery pan juices. 👏
6️⃣ Finish with fresh thyme, flaky sea salt and a little extra maple brown butter from the pan.

Simple ingredients, very Thanksgiving-worthy results. 🥕✨

🔖 Save this for your Thanksgiving menu and send it to whoever's still trying to figure out what vegetable they're bringing this year. 😂
