🧪 Brewing Chemistry Basics is back this August as an online Continuing and Professional Studies (CPS) course from the KPU Brewing department!

🍺 Who is this course for?
Anyone who wants to better understand the chemistry behind beer and brewing, including:
• New or aspiring brewers with little to no science background
• Homebrewers looking to refine their process and deepen their knowledge
• Students preparing for first-year brewing chemistry or science courses
• Brewery staff who want to build confidence in foundational chemistry concepts
• Anyone curious about how chemistry impacts beer quality and production

🍺 Learn the core chemistry behind great beer in a clear, practical, and approachable way. You’ll gain knowledge you can apply immediately, whether you're brewing at home or on the job.

💡 Shadow a brewing instructor during a live brew.

💡 Watch a beer analysis and quality control demonstration in the Chemistry lab.

💡 Participate in a mini-sensory class and beer tasting.

This is an in-person event led by our Brewing Diploma instructors.
