With the poor air quality that we have been experiencing we need to take a good look at our pond water. It may be time to remove the filter sponges/medium and give them a good cleaning, there will be many toxins in the water that can be harmful to your fish. Plus if you are topping up the water in your pond due to the heat remember to use some dechlorinater or let buckets of water sit for 24 hours to release the chlorine then add it to your pond.

Just a reminder to all of our pond customers. With the increase in temperatures your pond water levels will decrease along with the oxygen levels in the water. You will need to add water to your pond to protect the health of your Koi, Goldfish and plants. When adding water you need to remember to use a de-chlorinator or use buckets of water that air for 24 hours before adding to your pond. It is also important to add oxygen into the water with an air pump or a waterfall or shower head.
