And there are plenty being made around Estate 1909.

We’re heading into our first September with so much happening around the Estate — more gatherings, more reasons to come by, and some pretty exciting things taking shape behind the scenes.

Summer may be winding down, but around here, we’re just getting started.

We figured the best way to get into the month was with a very big pan of pasta.

Pasta By The Vines is back TONIGHT at Estate 1909 — fresh pasta from Casereccio Foods | Coffee & Pasta Bar Kitsilano & Ranallo’s, wine in your glass, gelato for dessert, and an evening in our picnic area.

A little something for the neighbours. 🤍🍷

This Monday, we’re inviting our neighbours, friends, families (and four-legged regulars) to spend the day with us at our Neighbourhood Social.

We’ve only been here a few months, but the support from the people right around us has meant more than we can say. This is our little way of saying thank you — and spending a holiday Monday together among the vines.

Three months. That’s it. 🤍

When we became Estate 1909 and opened our picnic area, it felt like the beginning of something new — but we truly had no idea what these first few months would become.

Week after week, you showed up.🍷

For the wine. For Sundown Sessions. For our long table dinners, yoga in the vines, pizza and pasta by the vines. You brought your families, your friends, your dogs — and sometimes came back again the very next week.

For a family-owned estate winery, that kind of support means everything to us.

We’ve shared so much laughter, watched new friendships form, welcomed back old friends and made more memories in three months than we ever could have imagined.

And now it’s September 1. Things will start to change with the season, but we’re not slowing down just yet.

The picnic area will continue as long as the weather allows, Sundown Sessions along with it. Another pizza night? It’s looking like it. 🍕 Harvest events? Absolutely. 🍂 And there are a few more things coming that we can’t quite tell you about yet…

But the one we’ve been waiting a very long time for?

Our Bistro. 🤍

This summer was only the beginning.

Thank you for making these first three months of Estate 1909 something we’ll never forget.

Our first Pasta By The Vines surprised us in the best way. 🍝🍷

With unpredictable weather and very little lead time to get the word out, we really didn’t know what to expect. But you came — and you came hungry. Ranallo’s sold out far quicker than any of us expected.

So we’re doing it again this Thursday from 5–8pm, and this time they’re coming prepared with plenty to feed us all. 🇮🇹

On the menu: Fusilli Pasta with White Mushroom Sauce & freshly shaved Parmigiano, served with focaccia. And because pasta wasn’t enough… they’re adding gelato this time too — Pistachio or Mango Sorbetto. 🍨

To everyone who joined us the first time, thank you. And to those who arrived after we’d sold out, we really hope you’ll come back and give us another try. ❤️

That’s exactly what our Neighbourhood Social is about. A little celebration of the friends, families and neighbours who’ve made these first few months at Estate 1909 feel like home.

A little wine, a little live music, and it looks like the weather might just cooperate with us. 🍷🎶

We’ve got a full weekend of music in the picnic area at Estate 1909:

🎶Friday — Sundown Sessions with Jordan Burgess, 6–9pm.
🎶Saturday — Chris Witoski, 1–4pm
🎶Sunday — Steve Halfnights, 1–4pm

The forecast is looking good during our live music hours, so come find a spot amongst the vines, grab a glass and spend a little time with us in the countryside.

We really didn’t know what to expect today.🌦️

The weather was on and off, and we wondered how many of our amazing guests would show up considering… Then you started arriving… and you just kept coming. 🤍

We ended up selling out of pasta much earlier than we expected, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who spent part of their evening with us.

We also know some of you arrived after we had sold out, and we’re truly sorry we didn’t get to serve you.

So, we’re bringing Pasta By The Vines back again this Thursday — and this time, we’re changing up the pasta completely and we’ve been informed that they’ll be even more prepared! 🍝

If you joined us today, come back and try something new. And if you missed out, we really hope we get the chance to welcome you this time.

Thank you for continuing to show up for these evenings we put together. It means a lot to us. 🍷

This fall, we’re setting the tables again and welcoming our Estate 1909 guests for Harvest Supper, another special evening from Vine & Gather.

Five courses, Estate 1909 wine pairings and a fall evening gathered together inside The Barn. Our winemaker also has something very special planned for the evening, more to come. 🍷
