Yes we have stocked the stand with sweetcorn.
Not much time left in our sweetcorn season.
We will have our roadside stand stocked daily this week.

Feeding our crops the proper nutrients is very important. With the high cost of these nutrients it is important we know what our soil needs to give us great crops. We take soil samples from our feilds and send them to a lab in London Ont that analyzes our soil and gives recommendations. Soil PH level is important to watch and every 5 or 6 years the soil starts to become a little acidic, so we add lime to to soil. Here is a short clip of that lime being spread today.

Good Saturday morning.
Just 1/10" of rain last night, but rain this afternoon.
We have sweetcorn on our roadside stand already picked this morning. Supply in the field is good so we are able to keep it stocked for the day. This is a great variety to freeze so your family can enjoy a taste of summer all year long.
Thank you for supporting our family farm in its 150th yr .
Our community is awesome!

Yes pur roadside stand is stocked with sweetcorn.

This is what I do yo freeze sweetcorn.
Peel husks off
Place sweetcorn in boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes
Remove from boiling water place sweetcorn in ice cold water to stop cooking process
Cut corn off cobs
Place sweetcorn in medium size zip lock freezer bags and flatten out to store in freezer.

When you want sweetcorn from the freezer .
Empty corn out of freezer bag into microwave safe bowl.
Put in microwave for 2-3 minutes
Stir and continue microwaving for another couple minutes until hot.
Drain the little bit of water out of bowl.
Butter and salt to your liking and serve.
