Did you know?
"TALLOW’S FATTY ACID FEAST
Beef tallow boasts a unique symphony of fatty acids that play vital roles in your body. Generally speaking, tallow from organic, grass-fed and finished cattle tends to be higher in healthy fats and nutrients than tallow rendered from grain-fed cows.
So, while the exact composition varies, here’s a general breakdown of what you’ll find:[*]
Monounsaturated fats (40–55%). These “good fats,” like oleic acid (found in olives), are known to support heart health, regulate blood sugar levels, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce the risk of obesity.[*]
Saturated fats (40–50%). Though these fats have been villainized as the “bad” guys, scientists say there’s no evidence they cause heart disease or that you should limit your intake.[*][*]
Polyunsaturated fats (3–7%). These essential fats include omega-3 fatty acids, which are crucial for our cells and hormones, support our mental prowess (impacting memory, learning, and moods), and lower inflammation.[*][*][*]
Since our bodies can’t make them, we must get them from our diet."
Start with a good source and you can't go wrong.
