Meet the Chef monday! Please meet Jesse Chambers from Wetaskiwin. We are so excited to have him at the Farm to Table Dinner series this summer! We have worked with Jesse on many private events and weddings in the past.
Chef Jesse Chambers got his culinary career started as a dishwasher in a local restaurant, working his way up through the ranks & fell in love with it. Jesse is Red Seal certified as well as a second year Sommelier with the International Sommelier Guild.
His first Head Chef position was at Huckleberry’s Café, where they won the award for best restaurant in the Alberta Parkland. He then went on to Executive Chef positions at the Nisku Inn & Conference Centre, Island Lake Lodge in Fernie B.C. and Northern Bear Golf Club in Sherwood Park. At the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Jesse was a Sous Chef for the Whistler Olympic Centre before moving on to open Stockmen’s Chophouse in Camrose which took second place in Alberta’s Best Steakhouse by Travel Alberta.
Jesse has been involved with The Glens Grill at Montgomery Glen Golf & Country Club on & off since 2007. When the opportunity to come back as a partner arose in 2017, he jumped at the chance. Since then, he opened Farm to Table Catering inc. with his beautiful wife Sarah & recently built a brand new, state of the art food truck called Graze. In 2022, Farm to Table Catering won Ag & Food Business of the Year for Wetaskiwin by The Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Jesse will be cooking up delicious dishes at The Old Red Barn on July 27 & August 12th. Only a few tickets left for August 12th, and we are cooking up a special collab July 27th. Stay tuned!
