Let me reintroduce myself to you. 🤗

Hello! My name is RJ or Reena to some (mostly colleagues that I ended up being close with).

I call my self “the accidental baker”. One foine day in year 2016 my eldest sister got bored and said “RJ let’s bake brownies”. Tried many times to perfect the brownies but because we both have zero knowledge as to what we were doing, she left and said “you finish that.” Boom, the baker in me was born. 😂

People find it weird that I don’t like sweets and pastries as I am a baker. I like it but not as much as you probably like it.😅
I grew up eating rice even for snacks, right ma? 😄 But worry not, I have a quality control team at home, both have sweet tooth, non other than my husband and son. 🥰

-Love language is cooking and baking so if I cook/bake for you, you must be special. 👩🏻‍🍳
-Perfectionist but procrastinator. I am very passionate of what I do but there are times that I don’t have the energy to get things going and that’s ok. 😪
-Dogs and plants. 🐕🪴
-If I’m not in the kitchen, I am probably singing. Karaoke! 🇵🇭
-Billiards! 🎱
-Coffee and shopping 💯☕️
-Photography and sunsets 🌇📸

Hello everyone! I’m Reena, or RJ to those close to me. As the owner of , it’s hard to believe it’s been four years since my last post. After leaving the Philippines to chase better opportunities for my family and pursue my passion for culinary arts, I graduated with a diploma from . Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Pastry Chef and Sous Chef at Kilmorey Pub and Restaurant in the breathtaking Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m loving every moment of it. ❤️
