Hi! We thought it was time to reintroduce ourselves. 💜

We’re Cathy and Cris, the owners of Purple Carrot Health Foods & Wellness.

Almost 10 years ago, we opened our doors with a simple goal: to create the kind of health food store we would want to shop in ourselves. We wanted to create a place where quality matters, questions are always welcome, and people feel comfortable walking through the door.
Fun fact... did you know carrots were originally purple and yellow, not orange? We loved the idea of going back to the roots of things, and that’s exactly what Purple Carrot has always been about.

We believe in real food, clean ingredients, supporting local businesses, and taking the time to help people find what they need. Whether you’re looking for a trusted supplement, trying to manage a health concern, or just searching for a great cup of tea, we’re here to help.
One thing we’re especially proud of is our refill department.

What started small has grown into hundreds of refill options, from laundry detergent and shampoo to herbs, spices, teas, gourmet olive oils, and balsamic vinegars.

Together, we’ve kept tens of thousands of plastic bottles out of the landfill, and that’s something we can all feel good about.

But if you ask us what makes Purple Carrot special, it isn’t the products on the shelves. It’s the people. It’s the conversations at the counter. Watching families grow. Celebrating health victories with our customers. Getting to know your names, hearing your stories, and being part of this incredible community.

Thank you for trusting us with your health, for supporting local, and for allowing us to do what we love every single day. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
