I should not forget this doe .Apple Road GNB Letitchia. 3rd lactation .She is probably close to what we want .Beautiful udder .Milks like a dream .2 kg and feeding 2 big kids .In milk 90 days . Definitely a keeper.

Two more Clayson Ridge Red daughters .Lange-Stukken Red Leya on the left side and Lange -Stukken Red Lieke on the right .Both are feeding twins .In milk around 80 days . Lieke milks close to 4 lb (1.8 kg ) Leya a little over 3 lb (1.5 kg ) They’re doing a good job.

2 sisters this morning on milkstand .Second fresheners.Both kidded February 13 with triplets.Both 1 buck 2 does .Approximately 75 days in milk .Still feeding the kids .Both milked this morning just under 2 kg /4 lb .On the left :Lange Stukken Red Leonore .Right side :Lange Stukken Red Lisanne .

Lange -Stukken EX Manouk : (Garden Gate SB Excalibur x Lange -Stukken HD Jellie ) .At this moment the best 1st freshener of 5 .She kidded Dec 9 with 2 kids.Still feeding them .We started milking her this weekend.This morning 1.5 kg ( 3.2 lb) We think this doe has a future at our place .

Our first does off the season,or last ones off the year kidded last week.( 5 first fresheners) One off them:Lange-Stukken HD Merita a daughter of Tindall Chancellor x Garden Gate Northern Icicle didn’t want her babies to nurse .After 6 days of going to the barn every 4 to 6 hours depending on the time of day (or night ! ) to help the kids nurse ,she suddenly decided that those 2 kids were not to bad after all and didn’t need my help anymore. Wat a blessing. No nightly visits to the barn anymore. (For the time being anyway!)

Breeding season 2025/2026.We have used Jack last year and kept all his doelings 8 except 1.He himself is a tall and dairy buck .Scored as a 1 year old VG 85. Got good Nubian character and to top it off .Lovely temperament.

It’s amazing November 1 and still feeding greens. Hopefully for another week.
