Fall is almost here… but in our greenhouses, we’re already thinking about the holidays! 🎄❤️

Our poinsettias have been planted and are already starting to grow! It might seem early, but these festive favourites need plenty of time, care, and attention to become the beautiful, colourful plants we all love during the holiday season.

We can’t wait to watch them grow over the coming months! ✨

We’re excited to share that we’re expanding our existing solar panel system as part of our continued commitment to sustainability and renewable energy!

Depending on the emissions intensity of the electricity it replaces, the additional solar generation could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 358 tonnes of CO₂ annually - the equivalent of taking approximately 78 passenger vehicles off the road each year.

We’re proud to continue investing in renewable energy, reducing our environmental footprint, and taking meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future.

Today, we welcomed representatives from CANZA (Canadian Alliance for Net-Zero Agri-food) to our greenhouse to share how we're reducing our environmental footprint through initiatives like our anaerobic digester and other sustainable growing practices.

In return, we learned more about the exciting work CANZA is doing to connect Canada's agri-food sector through research, partnerships, funding opportunities, and climate-smart innovation.
