Dobbs Family Farm Dobbs Family Farm is a small, family owned operation located in Lindsay, ON.

We raise free range Chicken, for meat an Eggs and Turkeys, and we grow a wide variety of vegetables following natural, sustainable agricultural practices.

Mother Nature is playing tricks on us again ā€” warm one day, chilly the next ā€” and we know it can make the seasons feel a littleā€¦ confusing. But hereā€™s the thing: local produce doesnā€™t follow grocery store schedules.

Just because you see it on a bigā€‘box shelf doesnā€™t mean itā€™s local, in season, or even fresh. Those items often travel hundreds (sometimes thousands) of miles before they reach the store.

We donā€™t resell auction or wholesaler produce ā€” and weā€™re proud of that. We partner with local farms (less than 30 miles) for beef, chicken, pork, duck eggs, and fruit we do not grow ourselves.

So if you donā€™t see certain fruits or veggies at the market yet, itā€™s not because we forgot them. Itā€™s because weā€™re waiting for the real season ā€” the one that grows in our soil, under our sky, on our farm.

When you shop here, youā€™re supporting the hands that planted, tended, and harvested every bite. We appreciate your support and understanding.
