It's been a crazy few days, but I'd like to take this moment to thank everyone who came by the Garden of Apologies on Saturday for Spring Rural Romp.
The day ended up being busier than expected, and I was slammed busy with visitors from 9:59am until 4:20pm. I appreciate everyone's patience as I bounced between wrangling traffic, offering hot sauce samples, and giving tours of the pepper field and Greenhouse of Extreme Regret.
Thanks to Heather from and for throwing such a great event, and I'm still flattered that so many people came by to check out what I do. What a great day!
That said, it's planting season so as soon as everyone left, I grabbed a sandwich and was right back to the field. 1095 peppers in the ground so far, and the squashes, cherry tomatoes and ground cherries are making good progress also.
I was hoping to work on the irrigation system between visitors, but I ended up not having any time to breathe so it's still on hold for a few weeks until the planting is done.
Looking forward to next year already!
