Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Skills and Education Requirements Include:

• Experience in a food manufacturing or meat processing plant
• Strong math skills
• Must be able to read, write and fully understand English
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have initiative and be able to work independently
• Judgement and prioritizing skills

What are the requirements of a Forklift Operator?

-Segregate products as per Government, customer and company guidelines

• Day shift: 8AM to 4:30PM
• Afternoon shift: 4PM to 12:30AM
• Monday to Friday, with optional over-time
• Full time, ongoing position with room for advancement
• Bussing to/from Kitchener-Waterloo is available at a reduced cost
• $14.50/hour to start. $15/hour after four weeks of employment
• Attendance bonus available on afternoon shift

Requirements of this position:
• Work on a production line, packaging meat products as directed by Lead Hand

The Janitor is responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and functional prior to the start of daily activities.

Details of this position:
• Day shift: 4:30AM to 2PM
• Monday to Friday
• Full time, ongoing placement with room for advancement
• Wage: $17.60 per hour

Requirements of this position:
• Safely operate ride-on floor scrubbing equipment, cardboard baler, and trash compactors
• Remove and dispose of all waste both inside the plant and outside, including on the grounds
• Complete cleaning tasks in non-production areas, including maintenance shops, loading docks, and dry storage areas
• Monitor spice storage areas to ensure that cleaning utensils are always available
• Ensure the proper amount of garbage receptacles are set out and available
• Test emergency eyewash stations and showers
• Perform regular daily routines according to task list. Advise Janitorial Lead Hand of any issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

What will you need?
• CSA approved Steel-Toed Safety Footwear is mandatory
• Forklift experience an asset
• Punctual and reliable
