78 years since the Nakba, and Palestinians are still being asked to prove their humanity.

Palestinian-Canadian poet Rafeef Ziadah wrote this during the bombing of Gaza in 2008-09, after a journalist asked her whether it would all be fine if Palestinians just stopped teaching their children to hate. This is her answer.

Three years ago, following the attack by Hamas that Israel had known about for a year, Israel began the assault on Gaza that a UN inquiry has since found to be genocide.

More than two million people are still there, holding on to their land through another winter in tents and rubble, and the "ceasefire" signed almost a year ago hasn't stopped the killing, the devastation, or the expansion of illegal settlements.

We see you. We won't look away. Free Palestine 🍉

We've been putting a lot more energy and focus into Reimagine Meals lately, so here's a quick reminder of what we do.

Frozen meals, cooked in our kitchen at 206 Piccadilly St:
♻️ Reusable containers: give them back and we reuse them
🍲 Lots of different dishes, and you pick which ones you get
🌱 Whole foods, completely plant-based
💪 Huge portions, 500 g each
✊ You're supporting a local business that stands up for human rights and justice

$13.99 a meal, or $13.15 each at five or more. No subscription needed.

They're great for people living alone, students, retired folks, new parents, anyone with a rough few weeks ahead, anyone who hates cooking, or anyone trying to eat a more plant-based and/or nourishing diet.

I also built our own ordering app, so we don't need to rely on Shopify any more. It's all in one place and made for our team and our customers: see what's in the freezer right now, pick your dishes, skip a week or change how often you order, or send a meal to a friend.

Did you know there's a café at Reimagine now? The Dilly Dally Café at 206 is a fun and life-affirming spot to hang out (or just grab great coffee), and it's the easiest way to try the meals: come in and eat one there! Thursday 9 to 5, Friday 9 to 6, Saturday and Sunday 10 to 4.

Order by Thursday night for Friday delivery across London, or order any time and pick up from 206 Piccadilly on Friday or Saturday.

Speed Friending is back this Tuesday, 29 September, 6 to 8:30pm at 206 Piccadilly St.

Because making friends as a grown-up is really, really hard. Short conversations with a prompt to get you started, a new person every few minutes, and time at the end to go back to whoever you clicked with.

No networking, no need to be interesting, no standing on your own in a corner.

$25, or pay what you can. Free for Collective members. Come on your own or bring a friend, and leave with a few more.

Tomorrow night: the Reimagine Collective meeting.

We'll go through what we're putting on at 206 Piccadilly, talk about what's in the pot and what it's for, and where the Collective goes from here.

You don't need to be a member. If you've been wondering what the Collective actually is and how it works, this is the easiest way to find out. Listen in, ask anything, bring an idea.

Tuesday 22 September, 7 to 9pm at 206 Piccadilly St. Free.

Register at https://collective.reimagineco.ca/events/reimagine-collective-meeting-2026-09-22, or just turn up.

BOYCOTT ED SHEERAN

"I don't take sides" is a side.

When Palestinian children are being bombed and starved, neutrality is not balance. It's permission, it's acquiescence, and it's cowardice. It's simply the cheapest choice for the person making it.

So let's make it more expensive. Stop streaming Ed Sheeran and don't buy the tickets.

In the society we live in, celebrities have great power. And with great power comes great responsibility.

Macklemore says two words cost him a stadium tour and much more. He's still saying them.

We invite to come play our stage at 206 Piccadilly St in London, Ontario. The words "Free Palestine" will always be welcome here.

Repost from on Instagram. Slides 2-11 are Macklemore's.

BOYCOTT ED SHEERAN: NEUTRALITY IS STILL A CHOICE WHEN HUMAN LIVES ARE ON THE LINE

Macklemore says his 13-year friendship with Ed Sheeran reached a breaking point after conversations about Palestine and their upcoming stadium shows. According to Macklemore, Ed told him that Robert Kraft had said Macklemore would not be allowed to perform at Gillette Stadium and that other stadium owners had allegedly delivered an ultimatum: if Macklemore remained on the tour, Ed could lose access to their venues. Those are Macklemore’s claims, and they deserve independent confirmation.

But the larger issue is the part I cannot ignore. Macklemore says Ed continued to take the position that he does not take sides. There are moments when neutrality may feel safe, professional or apolitical, but when civilians are suffering and fundamental human rights are at stake, refusing to take a position is itself a choice. Speaking up can cost artists money, sponsorships, relationships and access. Macklemore says it has cost him all of those things, and he chose to keep speaking anyway.

You do not have to hate Ed Sheeran to decide you will no longer financially support him. Boycotting is a form of peaceful protest. Consumers have every right to decide that their streams, tickets and dollars will not support artists whose choices conflict with their values. For me, human rights are not an issue where neutrality is enough.

Free Palestine.
