Congratulations to Canada Rocket Company on breaking ground in London, Ontario. It was an honour to cater a day that marks the start of something truly remarkable for our city.

Guests enjoyed a steady flow of passed bites, all prepared fresh on site: queso birria tacos, smash sliders, truffle fries, empanadas, crispy chicken sliders with guacamole and pepper jack, and pork belly tostadas.

Jim Cuddy’s son’s band set the soundtrack, A&B Events delivered beautiful tents and rentals, and PA Shop brought a massive countdown screen to lead everyone into the big moment. And of course, no groundbreaking is complete without shovels, excavators and a 3D printed piece of the rocket itself.

Thank you to Canada Rocket Company for having us, and to every partner who made the day run so smoothly. We cannot wait to watch what launches from here.

Best Caterer, Best of London 2026.

We are honoured to be named Best Caterer in this year’s Best of London. Since 2008 our focus has stayed the same: food cooked fresh on-site at every event, made from scratch with local, seasonal ingredients, and served with the same care you would expect from a fine restaurant.

Thank you to every client who has welcomed us into their weddings, celebrations and corporate events. Thank you to our chefs and service team, whose work is behind every plate, and to our family & my husband Harmen, whose support has been part of this business from the very beginning. We are grateful to share this with all of you.

Wheatfield, you are ridiculously pretty.

We catered this gorgeous wedding there this past weekend and somehow convinced the rain to behave itself until nighttime. We’ll take the win.

Dinner was all about the stations: Parmesan cheese wheel pasta, Napoli-style pizzas fired fresh on site, and a taco bar loaded with barbacoa and pork carnitas. Basically, nobody was leaving hungry.

Such a beautiful setting, an incredible celebration and one very happy NMC crew.

Congratulations to our beautiful couple. Thank you for letting us be part of such a special day.

No music needed. 😂🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Rain came through hard and the team kept going. Soaked grass, soaked shoes, and every course out on time. Outdoor events do not always cooperate with the forecast, and the plan has to hold either way. This one did.

Some desserts are served. This one arrives.

A 48-inch pavlova, assembled on site, crowned with local Heeman’s strawberries, blueberries and raspberries and finished with fresh chantilly cream on the side. Crisp shell, soft centre, four feet across.

It is not subtle, and it was never meant to be.
