Wheatfield, you are ridiculously pretty.

We catered this gorgeous wedding there this past weekend and somehow convinced the rain to behave itself until nighttime. We’ll take the win.

Dinner was all about the stations: Parmesan cheese wheel pasta, Napoli-style pizzas fired fresh on site, and a taco bar loaded with barbacoa and pork carnitas. Basically, nobody was leaving hungry.

Such a beautiful setting, an incredible celebration and one very happy NMC crew.

Congratulations to our beautiful couple. Thank you for letting us be part of such a special day.

Rain came through hard and the team kept going. Soaked grass, soaked shoes, and every course out on time. Outdoor events do not always cooperate with the forecast, and the plan has to hold either way. This one did.

Some desserts are served. This one arrives.

A 48-inch pavlova, assembled on site, crowned with local Heeman’s strawberries, blueberries and raspberries and finished with fresh chantilly cream on the side. Crisp shell, soft centre, four feet across.

It is not subtle, and it was never meant to be.

An incredible way to mark 80 years.

Poolside cocktails, an unforgettable set from Dwayne Gretzky, stunning balloon installations and the illuminated 80 from Ultimate Luxury Events, and a beautiful crowd of family and friends gathered to celebrate a remarkable milestone.

Guests enjoyed passed canapés, food stations, and a whimsical dessert suited perfectly to the occasion.

The weather tried to interrupt. The party carried on without missing a beat.

Happy 80th! Thank you for trusting North Moore Catering with such a special evening.
