Dating back to the previous century, our ancestors planted the very first olive trees that today represent the path from tradition to perfection. All of our groves are privately owned and are situated around the village of Thisbe, Boeotia, today known as Thisvi. The unique variety that is cultivated is Megaritiki, which is recognized as one of the highest quality internationally and is found only

in Greece. The key ingredients that make Thisbe Extra Virgin Olive Oil achieve it's premium quality are the climate of the region, the ideal altitude of 200 meters with close proximity to the sea, and the earth's finest red soil. Our family has always respected mother earths' greatest gifts and we have stayed true to the old traditions of our ancestors. Our olives are hand-picked early with the utmost care, and pressed the same day to ensure the olive oil's remarkable intensity of flavour and premium quality. Thisbe Extra Virgin Olive Oil is of limited production and has a rich, fruity aroma, light texture, and golden-green colour, maintaining all the natural & valuable components extracted from the fruit.

Greece produces more olive oil per person than any country on Earth. 🇬🇷

Over 300,000 tons a year. From a nation of just 10 million people. Italy has 60 million. Spain has 47 million. Greece still beats them both per capita — and it's not even close.

The olive tree has been central to Greek civilization for over 3,500 years. Ancient Greeks used olive oil for food, medicine, religion, and trade. That tradition never stopped.

Today, about 75% of Greek olive oil production is extra virgin — the highest quality grade. Most of it goes to Italy and Spain, where it gets repackaged and sold under their labels.

The world buys Italian. It's usually Greek.
