Big broccoli coming in hot (actually, quite cold). It's been a cl*******ck of a season, but here we are nearing the end, and grateful for one truly beautiful thing (actually two, if you count !) . Here's to blue sky's, slow mornings and broccoli as big as your head 😊

This season we are participating as members of the Seeds for Solidarity Funding Drive.

This project is fundraising towards two vital campaigns to support food sovereignty in the face of genocide:

We Must Plant - a grassroots initiative by the Gezira and Managil Farmers' Alliance and supported by organizations like the Sudan Solidarity Collective and Sudanese Resistance Front ( and )

Revive Gaza's Farmland - A project by the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, aiming to rehabilitate Gaza’s agricultural sector and restore local food systems to combat famine and counter the blockade ()

Seeds for Solidarity has a goal of raising $25,000 this Fall to be directly distributed to these three organizations. They have made a call out to farmers and land-workers to each build mini-fundraisers in order to reach their goal.

As our participation in this initiative, we will be selling the entirety of our pumpkin crop on a sliding-scale basis and donating 100% of the income. We encourage folks to be as generous as possible in knowing that the purpose of this project is to send as much money as we can!

Each donation will get one certified organic pie pumpkin grown on our farm in Low, QC. We will also supply my pumpkin pie recipe to make for your harvest table. We hope that folks make the pie and share it while giving thanks for the privilege's we have to be living in places where we are not encountering violence in our daily lives. Maybe giving thanks for access to stable and safe places to cook and share food and never having to wonder if we will have access to enough food to feed our families.

Too much work for insta these days. Not that I'm ever really on the ball. This season has been off to a sprint, and the last 6 weeks have kinda been a blur! All of my gratitude to coffee and cheese for keeping the cogs spinning.

So far, we are racing to keep up with infrastructure set up, irrigation, planting, weeding, pruning, and harvesting for our CSA and Market. It's wild days out here!

We still have room in our Summer CSA, which starts in a few weeks. Head to our website (in bio) to become a member and eat the good food and support the good work.

Trop de travail pour insta ces jours-ci. Ce n'est pas que je ne sois jamais vraiment à la page. Cette saison a été lancée au sprint, et les 6 dernières semaines ont été un peu floues ! Toute ma gratitude va au café et au fromage qui font tourner les rouages.

Jusqu'à présent, nous nous efforçons d'installer l'infrastructure, d'irriguer, de planter, de désherber, d'élaguer et de récolter pour l'ASC et le marché. C'est la folie ici !
