Fantastic Day for Bev Chubb Racing Horsepower
This dynamic duo crushed it today. The spring was not great, The summer was really good and the fall before today was a little grim. and then.......BOOM WILDFIRE in the 4th and The absolutely incredible DARK SCREEN crushed a very salty group of older horses in the 8th on what may have been the last dash on WO's inner turf for the season. No one works harder or cares more than Bev. Juan gets up and at it 7 days a week including weekly jaunts to FE ( season just closed ). In spite of limited WO opportunites and undue excess scrutiny, he rides to the wire and puts in 100% every race. We are thankful for all he does and for him bringing his 35 yrs of experience to the track every day.
Not surprisingly, both of today's winners are SPRING FARM breds , operated for 1/2 a century by J P and Mary Ann Brown, their son Nathan and G daughter Maddie and their wonderful group of helpers.
And none of this happens without the never ending support and efforts of Bev's small and loyal troop of helpers at The Track and The Farm. This entire team should feel very proud of today's giant accomplishment.
In closing, this is a challenging business that is costly and often goes sideways. Without the continuing support of a small but stoutly loyal group of owners, we could not continue. We are grateful, bless to all
