Join us for this hybrid event on Wednesday August 19 from 9 am - 5 pm where we will dive into rotational grazing. We will be joined by a diverse group of speakers, including experts and farmers experienced in rotational grazing systems. Topics include rotational grazing and its benefits for soil health and climate change mitigation, nitrogen management and cover cropping in rotational grazing systems, and rotational grazing from a holistic management perspective.

Getting More from Your Pastures is an OSCIA-recognized Knowledge Sharing Event (KSE) for farmers with On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) projects in the Rotational Grazing, Nitrogen Management, and Cover Crops Categories.

The AMGH Foundation Long Table dinner was held at COAST Goderich | Lake Huron this year. It was a stunning location. As always, the event was filled with lovely people, the community coming together, tasty food, great auction items to bid on, supplied by many caring folks and businesses in the community.

I only got a few photos, so here’s what I’ve got!

I got to be dressed up by Jennifer Triemstra-Johnston at Pick a Posie Vintage who always makes me look and feel like a million bucks!

It is my fourth year attending, and Trash Panda Brass has been there each year, amazing and delighting with their music. Loved the Pink Pony Club singalong this time!

So grateful to be a part of the community. And can’t wait to have an MRI machine close to home!

Pick Your Own Flowers are this Thursday, 5pm til Dusk

Come pick your own bouquet this Thursday evening! And for anyone who wants to linger a little longer, we're adding a meteor watch as the sky darkens. It's peak week for the Perseid meteor shower, one of the best of the year, and with a new moon there won't be any moonlight competing for attention. Dusk is still early for the real show but it's a lovely time to relax with your flowers, watch the stars come out, and hang out until the real show begins.

Bring a blanket and some friends.  We hope to see you here.
