Lets talk Lilacs🌿

Not only are these beauties known for there gorgeous aroma, but they also pack a punch when it comes to antioxidants!
These flowers can sooth inflammation, reduce stress and anxiety as well as calm minor skin irritations.

I personally like mine in a bath salt mixture.

* side note I'm gonna try a lilac sugar this season. Ill let you know if it tastes like drinking a bottle of perfume or not😝

Lets talk Rhubarb...
This perennial vegetable belongs to the buckwheat family. Full of fiber and packed with vitamins K and C, It was used in traditional Chinese medicine as a digestive aid.
Fun fact. Although its a veg it got classified as a fruit in 1947 to lower trade tariffs....hilarious🤣

*side note the leaves are poison
( I feel bad for the guy that figured that out!)

Uses for this baddy seem endless but I'm going with
- rhubarb simple syrup
- rhubarb vinegar
- and freezing until my strawberries are ready for jam:)

Let's talk Lovage.🌱

Lovage tastes like celery but has medicinal power and is much easier to grow!

It was very popular in the middle ages for curing a pile of crazy things, but these days science says it's a diuretic. To this day some Europeans still use it as a folk cure for minor stomachaches, kidney problems and headaches.

I like to use it in cooking anywhere I would use celery.

🌼Also should note that this drama queen can get up to 5ft tall. Its one of the first things to come up in the garden and gets cute little yellow flowers in June and July .
