Look who’s up and eating on her own! 🥹❤️🐷

After some very worrying days, seeing our sweet Lottie on her feet and eating by herself means the world to us. We’re taking it one day at a time, but today we have something wonderful to celebrate!

Thank you for all the love and positive thoughts for our girl. Keep them coming! ❤️

❤️ A little Lottie update ❤️

Our sweet girl took her medications like a champ today. I hand-fed her four bagels, she drank some water, and she had a pee—little moments that mean so much when you’re worried about her. 🐷💕

We’re taking things one step at a time and hoping she continues to improve. Thank you for all the love and positive thoughts. Please keep them coming for our Lottie. ❤️

Our vet assessed her this morning, and we believe she is septic following her difficult delivery. She has been through so much bringing her six babies into the world, and it’s heartbreaking to see her so unwell.

Her babies are all doing amazingly well. Now we’re hoping with all our hearts that their precious mama pulls through too.

We love you, Lottie. ❤️

🐷 Welcome to the world, little ones! 💕

Introducing Lottie’s six newest babies here at Whitetail Ridge Farm! Her smallest litter to date, but already so loved. 🥰

It was a difficult night, and our sweet Lottie is tired and exhausted. With veterinary support, pain medication and antibiotics, we’re hoping she can settle in for some much-needed rest while her little ones nurse.

Our tiny runt needed extra help getting started but is now latched on and nursing—a precious little victory after a long night. ❤️

Send some love to Mama Lottie and her six little bundles. 🌿🐽

Babies are coming soon at Whitetail Ridge Farm! Lottie is resting up, and the chickens have appointed themselves the maternity watch crew. 🐔👀

🐝 A Sweet New Beginning at Whitetail Ridge Farm! 🍯

We’re so excited to welcome the newest members of the farm—a beautiful colony of honey bees! ❤️

Today was a big learning day as we completed our first full hive inspection. Like any new beekeeper, I had moments where I wondered if I was doing everything right, but with some guidance and encouragement, I learned that our girls are working hard. They’re bringing in nectar, raising brood, and building their new home one cell at a time.

We’ve given them a second brood box so they have room to grow, and now we’ll let them do what bees do best.

Beekeeping is definitely a journey, and I’m looking forward to learning alongside these incredible little pollinators. They may be tiny, but the work they do for our farm, our gardens, and the environment is nothing short of amazing.
