BIG UPDATE INCOMING
The 2025 season officially ended on September 6 with a hard frost. After a long break, I wanted to share a recap and an important announcement.
There’s no denying it was a challenging growing year. We had a hailstorm in late June, unpredictable weather all summer, and high pest pressure in August.
But it was also one of the most fulfilling seasons. I got to design for five amazing brides and feel so grateful to have been part of their special days.
Opening our little flower camper, Dolly, throughout the summer was another highlight. Seeing the excitement from our community at the flower stand was indescribable.
But for 2026, I’m making a big, but temporary shift. I won’t be selling cut flower garden kits, bouquets or taking on wedding work next season.
And that's because something unexpected and incredible also happened this year.
I am working behind the scenes alongside a fellow flower farmer to build a flower farm planning app called Emflowered, and we are thrilled to be releasing it later this year.
Emflowered has been a labour of love, and in 2026 I’ll be putting most of my energy into building and growing it.
Flowers have been my world for the past four summers. I'll still be growing (don't tell Matt that I've already bought seeds 😂), but instead of selling, I’m excited to spend the season selfishly enjoying the flowers while building our app and having more family adventures together.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported our backyard flower farm this year. ❤️
