First calf of the season was cold yesterday, so we warmed him up, as you do, in the house!!
He spent the night in house with us and has now gone back to his Mum. We did also feed him a few times too, 'twas a long night, especially as he was keen to be running around this morning!

The northern lights were something I hadn't come across in the UK. Now, having seen them on many nights since moving to Canada, I was surprised to see them just before 6 am yesterday. I thought that they wouldn't happen this close to sunrise!

Our lambs and kids were not trotting out to graze this morning, like they usually do when I let them out of the corral each morning. They were soon turning back to eat hay again!
