Daily vitamin delivery to the big girl group and Drifter.
We are in a selenium deficient area, so this ensures that the Ponies are getting what they need, and we get to have a good, close up look at them every day.

Our friends at Poppy's Haven are reaching out to support their local service members.
We don't have formal sessions set up, but please reach out if a little time with our Ponies would be useful to you.

Please know you are not alone. ❤️‍🩹🐴

The devastating situation at CFB Wainwright is a national tragedy that has deeply affected the Canadian Armed Forces community and their families.

Our thoughts are with the Canadian Armed Forces members and the families who have lost loved ones. We know that these events can activate current and past trauma in our military, veterans, and their families.

To support our local military members, past and present, and their families struggling with the impact of this tragedy we open our doors to them this coming Saturday afternoon October 24th, from 1 to 3 PM. Spend time with Canada’s Heritage ponies and partake in our research-based Equine Assisted Learning exercises with our Cartier/Dreamwinds certified EAL facilitators, where you will experience grounding and mindfulness, rebuild trust and emotional regulation all in a nonjudgmental environment.

We do ask that you register in advance by sending us a message through Instagram or Facebook.

The session is sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 109 and Poppy’s Haven.

Please know that you are not alone. ❤️‍🩹🐴

Sweet 3 year old Lawnie ( P&P Lawnya Vawnya nps 1057
Osceola'sSweet and Sassy # 719 x Little Buddy #792 ) had her first 15 minute ride today.
We are so impressed with her calm mind and forward walk! Looking forward to putting a few more rides on her before she gets turned out for the winter.

It's been a long day, everything is muddy and gross, but I won't complain about the moisture!
Chores are done, critters tucked in for the night.
It's nice to be able to sit quietly with a beverage, supervise the burning of scraps and just be for a bit.

Raining too hard for photos today, but I caught JimmyC napping yesterday morning, went a little closer for a better photo and it was full on herd carcass time! Tippy toed away to leave everybody to nap in peace!

Sweet Baby JimmyC doesn't get enough airtime! When he was born, Brian's Dad said he was the first foal born here on the farm for 72 years. We have had Newfoundland Pony foals every year since, but JimmyC is our lone token Quarter Horse.
