Very excited to announce my very own educational mushroom growing workshop happening on Friday, October 3rd from 6pm-8pm! I have always enjoyed explaining to others the incredibly interesting world of growing mushrooms, and I want to take that a step further to show the in depth process behind these amazing crops. I’ll be hosting this at the Mahone Bay Centre, which is on 45 School St. If you’re fascinated by mushrooms and want to learn something new about where unique specialty varieties come from, while also taking home your very own mushroom growing kit to try at home, send me a direct message or email me at [email protected] to secure your spot!

Today is the first day back at the Blockhouse Farmers Market! I’ll be here every Saturday from 9-12 throughout the winter. Today I’ll have fresh shiitake, lions mane, blue oyster and dried mushrooms + powders for those making soups and stews during these cold months. Hope to see you there!
