Railway Creek Farm It’s all about garlic!!!! A local veggie farm north of 7 offering microgreens during the winter months and a selection of vegetables over the summer months..

Also, there are over 20 varieties of garlic that are grown on the farm. All of these are available to order and are shipped out to customers in September. All crops are grown on healthy soils with as little tillage as possible, cover crops a d compost to build soil and microbial life. A healthy soil will grow a nutrient dense and tasty vegetable. WE love garlic and vegetables and we love to grow it!

To all garlic lovers out there who have purchase their 2025 supply, thank you! And good luck with your fall planting. To many of you I have shared some really good tips on growing good garlic. I hope you all remember that it’s about the soil health first.
The last weekend of September is the last time the barn is open. So pop in if you are looking for garlic. Not many strains are left, but what is available are still a good size.
For October, You can call to make arrangements for order pick ups or purchases, if there are any garlic left…. 🤔

A big thank to all the visitors who stopped in to the garlic barn! We had a great turn out of for the first Farms Open Quinte 2025. I am so glad that people drove all the way to Cooper to see the garlic operation and purchase garlic. I answered lots of questions on the types of garlic and how to grow it. This gave me an opportunity to geek out on soil health! I appreciated the interest that people had about no till natural gardening. I was happy to share growing knowledge with gardeners, especially about soil microbes!

We are at the Carp Garlic Festival this weekend with 23 kinds of garlic. It’s been 7 years since I was here last, partly due to COVID shutting it down for the last 5 years. I’m pumped to see old customers and making new ones.
Come on out and check all the garlic and garlic products plus veggies, prepared food and crafts.
