Melanie's Mixes are a collection of recipes created by a mother for her kids with food sensitivities so she could let them have treats. Of course she wanted to give them treats that were actually tasty, otherwise it wasn't much of a treat, so she engineered her own recipes until she had created foods that her kids gave the five star approval rating. Knowing that there wasn't a whole lot of good op

tions for tasty foods that were allergen friendly, Melanie wanted to share these with every one else and also to provide a way to share the fun of making treats with the kids and enjoying that fresh baked aroma at home. These mixes give you all of that!

A perfect summer dessert! Not too sweet but oh so satisfying! I love to make this during blueberry season because the berries are so fresh and this cake is so quick to make. Hint: you can even bake it on the BBQ so you don’t heat up your house in the hot summer!

Cinnamon, strawberry, rhubarb cake… that is definitely something so good!! Whip up our cake mix, spread it in a 9x13 pan and sprinkle the fruits and cinnamon on top and bake! Yum, yum, yum!!

Gluten and dairy free sliders buns are not something you’ll find in a store…but you can make them and it’s not only super easy but they’re truly yummy! Use our bread mix and bake it in a muffin pan instead of a loaf pan. Shorten the baking time accordingly, of course. You won’t regret trying this!!

This is a genius way to prevent the crust from going soggy from the juice of the fruit and who doesn’t love a little chocolate with dessert?! 😃 I used dairy free dark chocolate with this strawberry pie, but any chocolate should work.
