✨ Meet The Maker ✨

It's been a while since I've introduced myself and since there's nearly 3000 of y'all now, I think it's about time!

I'm Mary Etta, I started SE Ranch Company as a one woman and one dog show! Roo and I are proud to say we've been making dead cows look good since 2020! It's hard for me to believe that it's been 6 whole years now, it's been an incredible journey that I am so unbelievably thankful for.

I spent many years traveling around North America, working on different ranches and learning as much as I could from anyone that would offer their knowledge. Eventually a rawhide braider (ironically in Marietta, Oklahoma) introduced me to the world of leatherwork, and just like that I was hooked.

Sometimes I find it funny that after so many years of being away I managed to find Home with the love of my life just a few miles from the town I grew up in. Malcolm and I spent many hours in the shop together making beautiful things like headstalls, chinks and spur straps but I must say the most beautiful thing we ever made together is our daughter. Our amazing, vibrant, wildly feral, little girl- Lila Jean.

When I started my little business I began with making little leather earrings and bracelets, these days most of my orders are for chaps and chinks. I am so thankful for the lessons I've learned in and out of the shop, some self induced and some taught to me by experts that genuinely love this craft as much as I do and want to pass on their knowledge.

I love what I do, and thanks to all of you I get to make beautiful things every day. From the bottom of my heart- thank you 🤎

We will be having our first Gunsling Class Sunday November 1st here at the shop! This has been a request for a while so I thought we should finally make it happen! We always use quality leather so this project will be something you can keep for a lifetime and then pass down.

On Friday October 30th we will be having the fan favorite Spur Strap Class! I made stencils for you to choose from so you can now add beginner friendly tooling to your own design!

Spots are limited so make sure you reach out ASAP! If there is something specific you want to make reach out with a date in mind and we can make it happen 🤎
