Guess the Beef results are in!!

Apparently we need to be a little trickier, because you guys did a great job of naming the tray of beautiful STRIPLOIN steaks!

This beautiful cut, known for its rich flavour and tenderness is a fan favourite here at the shop! Cut from the short loin, this cut is full of marbling, perfect for the bbq.

We had over 400 players this round and the lucky winner is RickandColleen Criss.

It is time for round 2 of Guess the Beef!!🥩

If you missed it last time, every few weeks we will post a picture of a beautiful cut of beef here at the shop! Your job is to comment on the pic with your guess as to what cut it is! If you get it right you will be entered into a draw to win a nice package of that particular cut!

We will be drawing for this week’s Guess the Beef on Saturday, June 6th just in time to toss your winnings onto the bbq Saturday night!

Well we decided it was time to give one of these bad boys a try. At 9.8lbs it fed the entire Milton/Matthews crew for Mother’s Day.

For reference we marinated the Caveman steak for 24 hours and then reverse seared it in the oven at 270 degrees until the internal temperature got to 100 degrees. Lastly on to the hot flat top for a final sear. 👌

(Don’t mind the kid and baby commentary in the background🤦‍♀️)
