So this one both I and my boyfriend chipped in.
Keep yours eyes open because I will be parting with two grade mares once I have confirmed they are in foal and have my farrier touch up their feet.

We be either selling confirmed in foal, with foal at side or once foal is weaned.

We would like to send out a huge congratulations to Heather on KD Luna Super Power!!
We are so excited for you and her future and cannot wait to see the success and beautiful babies she will raise
It’s a good thing you scooped her up when you did as I was considering keeping her for our own broodmare band 🫣

This is why my body can handle goats milk better than cows milk. Less lactose and easier to digest.

I was able to replace my boyfriends chainsaw and some other things that were in the shop/barn fire that we have needed in the past few weeks with the Canadian Tire gift card we received from them.

There are still a few things we are replacing to fix fences, buildings and hutches every two weeks that were in the shop/barn.
We are also trying to replace the livestock lost in the fire as those goats were part of our yearly farm income.
I recently had purchased soap making supplies and a few other things so I could start to make goats milk soap to sell at farmers markets. With only 2 does in milk this no longer possible this year.

I also planned to start making my own yogurt and few other dairy products with the milk as I am reacting to certain cow dairy products due to the bacterial culture used and possibly the type of lactose. Fresh goat milk has been my go to for 3 years now as I don’t have to watch what brand of product I buy!

This is the link to the GoFundMe for us, each donation goes directly to my farm account and is only used to purchase farm needed supplies and put deposits on goats to rebuild my herd so I can continue to have a milk supply and not rely on my small town grocery store who very commonly doesn’t have the brand I need.

This wasn’t easy to make, I’ve been trying to make this video for weeks but have only been able to add one or two photos before having to stop because the tears are flowing too much.

These girls were my first babies, my first goats ever! The bond I shared with Jill will never be replaced. She was my rock and I was hers. I was her midwife for all her babies coaching her through it and comforting her. The loss of her hurts 💔

The Nigerians hurt too as both Summer and Blacky were great milk producers! Ping was just learning how to be a mom!

Butter aborted her babies 3 days after the fire and ended up with mastitis we were treating but her smoke inhalation on her lungs was too much. I think the loss of her best friends Summer and Ping also took a toll on her. They would talk back forth between the outside pen across the creek and pen in the barn/shop.

My life has changed since watching it burn to the ground last month. Opening my door, or curtains on a beautiful day used to be my favourite thing but now it brings a different view one I would much like to forget but I can’t.
Coming home to go work on projects in the shop or sit with the babies were also favourites, now sitting with the new post fire babies makes my heart ache and working on projects has to wait for good weather days or pay cheques so I can replace tools, lumber and other supplies. This isn’t easy and I hope no one ever has to experience this! ❤️‍🩹

We would like to give a big thank you shoutout to Canadian Tire for reaching out with this very generous offer for us! Life hasn’t been easy navigating the loss of our shop/barn, but with the help of Canadian companies like this it goes to show that no matter what happens there is always someone willing to offer what they can in a time of need.
We are very grateful to all our Instagram followers who tagged many Canadian businesses and we are very grateful that one was willing to stand behind a small town farmer with a very small social media platform!

Canadian Tire you truly are a Canadian company supporting Canadians! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕❤️‍🩹
