Rosie's Custom Baking Rosie's Custom Baking is all about the customer; if you know what you want, I will try to make it. Pictures, ideas, event all make this business happen.

On top of the baking, I do a number of crafts that our in our little gift shop. I enjoy art so much I thought it would be nice to do it and share it with others in a SWEET way. There is not a challenge that I won't take on when it comes to building a cake, cupcakes, treats etc. As well as doing the construction of the baking I run a small but quaint little restaurant, everything is homemade here.

We are located along highway 35 going north to High Level, Alberta, there is a very large tea pot sign at the road. This is also the home of over 600 tea pots and accessories to having tea. There is a really cute gift store that has a great verity of gifts; some are done by locals others shipped in. Most of all customers or new customers are welcome any time; for the baking part call and place your order!!

I have been recouping from surgeries; hopefully I will be open come the first of June. I do hope if you want baking done for a special occasion or just something to take home; call me at 780-274-0205. I have missed my baking and my customers so if you are new to the area drop in and if you are an old customer come on back.

Just to let people know...I have been closed for about 8 months do to injury on top of injury. I am hoping to open May long weekend, but not promising.
When I do open it will be sandwiches,soups and baked goods. The past three years I got a lot of people just stopping for drinks sandwiches and snacks.
I do wedding cakes, birthday cakes, specialty cakes and much more. Once I get open I will post it loud and clear on Facebook.

Well here I am letting everyone know that physio is what I'm now going to be working at before I will be able to do any decorating of cakes. It is a stretch to make hubby anything to eat. The doc said it could take up to 8 months to get my arm working the way it should be. I am definately hoping it will not take that long; but the older I get the slower it takes me to heal.
I am extremely tired most of the time; going to ask my family doctor to do a once over with my meds; I also want him to order an eye test and hearing. Everyone around me is saying I'm deaf and can't see straight, plus I have become so forgetful.
Hope everyong will come back once I am healed up and ready to go. I really miss the interaction with others!

Well, here we are almost the middle of August. It has been a very tiring July; I had surgery on June 29,2018 on my right shoulder, hubby had emergency surgery for his appendix..scarely, but at least he is feeling much better. Friends passing; me, not working, driving hubby nuts, but aye, I not on a killing spree. Thats all you see anymore;; what are these people eating or what chemicals are they doing.
I see the surgeon in Grande Prairie on the 20, 2018, to see if I'm physically able to return to my job; baking and cooking. It is tough right now to get my right arm up as high as the table.
Do hope all is well with all those who have gone through something major this year, Lord knows my summer was halted, but it was meant for a reason..
Hopefully I will be able to reopen and get back to what I love best, I will keep in touch.

I know it has been a long time but life gets away on you. I have been very busy doing cakes, cupcakes, flowers, restaurant. Wish more people in the north from Grimshaw to High Level would make a point of stopping in; take a look at what I can do; shop in our little gift store; order some baking; or just sit down and have a tea with me. I am in the middle of nowhere so really enjoy the company. Be sure to call if you are driving any distance to make sure we are open.
