Today after a long week- I feel alive.
Got back to what I left off. I am a woman on a mission and I must go on.
I was grieving the loss of my loved ones. When one leaves, they remind you of all who left before them too- reminding how even that grief is still around and needs processing. In a way, they gift you the gift of “slowing down” which you usually wouldn’t allow yourself the pleasure of. They’re your ancestors, they saw you grow up. they know you.
Grief needs gentle holding, taking a back seat, meeting your own self where you are. Trying to get back up when you feel ready. Push…um no. No pushing. No self-bullying. Just gentle tries, and if that still doesn’t feel like “good”, the calling it just what it is- “it sucks” “life is unfair” and “God is sadist” and whatever brings a little coffee like warmth to your heart- so it starts to beat again.
Slowly but surely - it will beat again♥️
