Hello Fall! 🍂

Rains came this week and ushered in what I think will be the last weekend of fresh flowers in the farm stand. Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year and purchased flowers or recommended me to a friend. I am already excited to think of what next year will bring but in the meantime I’ll be working on the fall farm tasks like bulb planting, tuber digging and bed preparation. I’ll keep you posted and if you’re not already on the farm newsletter list just send me a message and I’ll make sure you know when the stand reopens in 2027. ✨

How do you wish someone a very special 18th birthday? With locally grown flowers of course 💚

Dahlias, in all their glory, are the star of this bouquet but pink celosia, feverfew, zinnia and snapdragons complete this sweet arrangement. Hand-tied and wrapped in white kraft paper… a perfect gift 💐

September… the bridge between summer and fall ☀️🍂

The weather has been a pleasant mix of cool morning and warm afternoons which makes me feel nostalgic for a new pack of pencil crayons, fresh pens and unmarred notebooks. Even though I’m not headed back to school next week I might still treat myself to a few school supplies, just because. ✏️

If you’re in town this Labour Day long weekend come visit the farm stand and see what’s in bloom! Mixed bouquets and mason jars with a few different price points… the hardest part will be choosing which one to bring home. 💐

Whew the weather sure doesn’t know what it wants to do today but it’s turning out to be a lovely one. If you’re out and about this weekend and are looking for some beautiful fresh flowers, please stop by the farm stand. 💐 We are solidly in dahlia season and they are putting on a good show in this weekend’s bouquets.

August is abundant with flowers and I’ve picked the best from the fields this week, including these Zinnias in an array of fun fruit punch colours. Btw, did you know it’s Canadian flowers week? Yes! Every August we celebrate Canadian grown flowers across the country and I’m proud to be a small grower amongst some pretty impressive players in this field.

Stop by this weekend to pick up some locally grown flowers… the farm stand is self-serve so you can browse in a quiet, cozy space and take all the time you need to pick just the right bouquet.
