At East Ridge Farms, We specialize in growing gourmet, naturally grown, Red Russian garlic as well as naturally grown Vegetables and Flowers. We want you to know that EVERYTHING we grow at East Ridge Farms is pesticide, herbicide, fungicide and chemical/synthetic fertilizer FREE. We also work hard to grow only non GMO! We believe that there should be a return to the way humans used to grow food.

.. hands on, naturally and on a small scale! Our Garlic, Vegetables, Flowers are available for sale direct from our farm stand, seasonally, from June until December. We also welcome inquiries from local restaurants, caterers, grocery/specialty food stores, florists, and anyone else who is interested in purchasing any of our products and supporting their LOCAL farmer.

A bit of a late today. Had to work at my job away from the farm in the am, so got a late start. The stand is stuffed full of veggies again this week… we’ve got:

Save the date!

Our annual Garlic Fest & Pop Up Market is Saturday September 19th from 12:00-5:00PM on our farm!

Our Red Russian Garlic tablestock and seedstock will be available and The Farmstand will be stocked with all of the usual veggies and flowers as well.

There will also be other vendors in attendance! I’ll be updating the vendor list as vendors confirm their attendance, so check back! So far we have:

Please park along the east side of 267th street. If you are bringing a furry friend, make sure it is well behaved and on leash and please pick up after it. Do not let it enter the farm areas, please keep it on the gravel driveway. Note: there are a few very aggressive dogs in the neighbourhood who occasionally escape their yards, so be cautious.

It's that time of year again! We are looking for vendors for our annual Garlic Fest and Pop Up Market on our farm! The date is September 19th, 12:00-5:00pm.

If you know of any vendors that might be interested, share this post to them. We'd love to have a natural candle maker, natural soaps, fresh breads, local honey, baked goods, eggs, wooden charcuterie boards, hot sauces, maybe a food/coffee truck etc. I want to keep it LOCAL and support growers, makers, bakers from around Maple Ridge... with an emphasis on natural/organic food and bodycare. In total, I'd like 10-15 vendors and want each vendor to be unique (I don't want 6 candle makers). I've got the vegetable end of things covered, so not looking for other farms... unless you grow tomatoes, peppers, or fruit (things we do not grow).

Cost is $20 to attend to offset the cost of the event insurance. Vendors should carry their own insurance too (you can buy a policy for the day for around $15) and follow food safe practices if preparing consumables.

The are blooming! I have set up our build your own zinnia flower bar again this year for you! Pick a jar, pick your blooms, enjoy!

The next round of calendula is also blooming so I’ve crafted up a few jars for you. Eat on salads or dry and use for tea.

And even more sunflowers are blooming… loving these ones with lime centres! Don’t miss the sunflower sale!

Also found some scallions that are ready, so put some of those in the stand too. Sooo tasty.

Check out what’s in stock in the this week! We’ve got a bunch of blooming right now, so we’re having a sunflower bouquet sale… 1 for $12.50 or 2 for $20.00! They are gorgeous 😍.

New this week we also have basil (limited quantities) and some really cool looking green pattypan squash. We’ve also got:

Kale (curly green & red, lacinato, winter red)

Garlic umbel/bulbils

We’ve sent out the first order of pickling cukes and the first few slicing cucumbers are ready… but we ate those ones lol, so I’ll have slicing cukes for you soon too! I’ll post when they’re in the stand. Beans are also on the way too.
