The kids finished their first year with market beef projects as members of Langley Beef 4H Club. The last fair for us ended just last week at the annual PNE 4H Livestock Fair and Auction. Thank you Sanscorp Products Ltd www.sanscorp.ca for buying Rachael's steer, Percy. Thank you www.CarstairsLaw.ca, and the Blussons at Ashlar Farm for going in with our family at Golden Ears Farm, on the purchase of Joe's market steer, Steve.

The 4H Fair season has come to an end for us at Golden Ears Farm, finished off at the annual PNE 4H Livestock Auction. Thank you so much for all the people that came to support all the 4H kids by being there to watch the competitions over the weekend and for those that attended the auction.

PNE/Playland opening day today! Admission is only $7 and the annual PNE 4H festival is happening now, throughout the day and tomorrow. Beef showmanship has started, Steve and Percy will be up soon…Lamb showmanship is just beginning, Swine and more a little later in the day with Mayo and Malibu.

💥 Update with our piggies… Congrats to Rachael with Malibu placing 🥈 Reserve Champion Market Hog and Congrats to Joe with Casserole placing 🥇 Champion Carcass Hog.

The PNE 4-H Festival runs in the barns next Saturday and Sunday with the annual Livestock Auction on August 24th. 4-H British Columbia 🍀

As members of Langley Beef 4H Club & Pitt River Lamb, Beef & Swine 4H Club, our 4h'ers have raised 2 steers; Percy and Steve, and 4 pigs; Mayo, Casserole, Malibu and Tito as their market projects this year.

If you appreciate knowing where your food comes from, and are interested in attending the auction to bid on & purchase some top quality, premium local BC beef or pork, contact us to get yourself, or your place of business, signed up as a registered buyer to receive your invitation. ([email protected]) If you're already signed up that’s awesome and appreciated. Swing on by and check out Rachael and Joe's steers and hogs.🐖🐂

Next Monday is coming fast! Can't make it on that day but still want to be a part of this event? No problem, as we have Proxy Buyer Authorization forms available for you.

Stock up your freezer or split it with family +/or friends, or as a business, you can expense the purchase as gifts for employees or donate the meat to a local food bank. A win win for everyone!
(Lamb and goat will be also available.)

Your support in showing up to the auction is insurmountable to all these youth in this agriculture program as many will potentially become our future farmers of BC, or continue on to work in the BC agriculture industry.

The Llama Company did a live feed showing of some of the animals (sheep,llamas and goats) at The Chilliwack Fair , Chilliwack Fair 4-H Beef Show and Percy and Steve were fortunate to have the spotlight on them as well.
